Photo/Video Media Staff
Job Description
Love capturing memories that last a lifetime? We’re looking furries passionate with Photography and Videography who’s great and planning media coverage and managing photographers and videographers to document all the happenings of IWAG and prepare memories to cherish forever. From planning photobooths to entire video recaps of the con, if you’re into the art of the moving (or still) pictures - we need you!
Note: Please indicate in your application for your preference between photography and videography.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and propose photo/video coverage of the convention, or activities before and after the convention, including presenting draft storylines, shot lists/inventory, as well as equipment roster.
- Work together with other media team staff members to achieve coverage goals and cover each other during the convention.
- Help come up with media concepts, best practices, or recommendations for the con’s coverage and even AV delivery solutions.
- Work with the Logistics team to procure or rent additional equipment where authorized.
- Work with the Experience Design teams to configure a photobooth location and manage such photobooth.
- Scout out the venue for possible photo opportunities.
- Be able to coordinate a team of volunteer photographers/videographers on convention coverage, and collate/compile the resulting media assets into an archive or into convention recap.
Preferred Qualifications
- Obsessed and passionate with planning and providing the best customer experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading or planning photography or videography projects from any background, including corporate and commercial events and projects.
- Willing to go creative and go the extra mile to ensure everyone has a great time!
- Bring Your Own Gear for your selected role/focus.
- Fluent in written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English (CEFR B2 minimum).
- Experience in same-day recap video planning, AV networking, media self-hosting, or directing are welcomed plus points.

As Staff members will be official representations of the organization, information will be required to ensure accountability and transparency within the team.
This information can only be accessed by relevant Staff members who are bound to the IWAG Staff Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement and the general IWAG Privacy Policy.
General PII that we require from all Staff members will be collected through this form are:
- Your Legal Name
- Your Email Address
- Your Age
- Your Phone Number
- Your Social Media Identifiers
Specific PII that will be processed through the Staff lifecycle are completely voluntary. Examples of information we may process are, but are not limited to:
- Dietary Preferences, if necessary
- Health information, concerns and risks, if necessary
- Financial transaction receipts and statements, if needed for reimbursements related to con work
- Residential Address, if required for shipping items or if part of the Logistics network, or for random martabak deliveries.
We will not retain a copy of your identification card (Passport, National ID, Drivers’ License), but we will need to see it to provide your badge during the event.
Upon successful offer as a Staff member, all Staff members are bound to a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement before granted access to information that is deemed required for the incumbent Staff member to perform their duties, and will become governed by the general IWAG Privacy Policy.
